Okay, nothing is happening much on this blog, so here's an idea...
Everyone post one of your most favorite Bible verses and what it means to you or why it is your favorite. If you are a member of this blog, post it on a post. If you are just dropping by and are not a member feel free to join in on comments.

Just an idea,

Hi Zoe!! You like those templates too huh? THe only problem with the one you picked, is for some reason it won't work on Blogger. I tried the exact same one and it didn't work. You want to try and get one with a code starting with xml. Hope I helped!

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

That's one of my favorite verses :) It always helps and encourages me when I'm afraid.

Leviticus 11:12 - Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Even though I often struggle to comprehend, we should all submit our will to the Lord's and not needlessly question his commands or (worse) ignore them willfully - often, my heart is uneasy when I see otherwise devout Christians adhere to the scriptures when they please and then go astray on verses like these and forfeit salvation.

It makes me so sad; then sometimes I wish following His wisdom wasn't so difficult and it makes me even sadder and feel so guilty. I really think this verse is so deep; it always gives me lots to think about.

Keep on writing, I *really* enjoy reading your blog. Please excuse my English, it is not my native tongue.

The best news ever:

No one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself if fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.
Romans 3:20-26 (New Living Translation)

my favorite verse is:

My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from him.
He is alone my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Psalm 62:1-2
