Hey check out this song!
Whatever You're Doing ~ Sanctus Real
Lyrics:
It's time for healing time to move on
It's time to fix what's been broken too long
Time to make right what has been wrong
It's time to find my way to where I belong
There's a wave that's crashing over me
And all I can do is surrender
(Chorus)
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but somehow there's peace
It's hard to surrender to what I can't see
but I'm giving in to something Heavenly
Time for a milestone
Time to begin again
Reevaluate who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow Your will
Or just climbing aimlessly over these hills
So show me what it is You want from me
I give everything I surrender...
To...
(Chorus)
Time to face up
Clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out
That I've wanted to say for so many years
Time to release all my held back tears
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but I believe
You're up to something bigger than me
Larger than life something Heavenly
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but now I can see
This *is* something bigger than me
Larger than life something Heavenly
Something Heavenly
It's time to face up
Clean this old house
Time *to* breathe in and let everything out
I really like it! What do you guys think?

Prince Caspian and the Bible
Of all the books in the Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, Prince Caspian probably has the least spiritual aspects. In the book the Old Narnians are trying to reclaim the land that is rightfully their’s. The Talmarines took it from them. It is like the Israelites trying to get their land back after they were driven out. But the Israelites were driven out because of their sin and the Old Narnians were just kicked out. Also in the book Lucy was the only one who could see Aslan. The others didn’t believe her when she said that Aslan wanted them to go another way. They could not see Aslan because they didn’t have the faith that he was there. Lucy is the youngest so it’s like how you have to be like a child to get into the kingdom of heaven. (Luke 18: 16-17)
“But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me. Truly I tell you, whoever will not receive the kingdom like a little child will never enter it.”
Slowly the others see him. When we don’t have faith that God’s there, we can’t see Him. When we don’t believe we are blinded from the truth. (John 3:21)
“But those who live by the truth come into the light, so that they might plainly see that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.”
There might be more but I don’t remember them.
The movie has some that I don’t think were in the book. The theme of the book and movie with the Old Narnians trying to reclaim their land is the same. Also that Lucy is the only one to see Aslan. She sees him and turns around to tell the others. They don’t believe her and she ends up following the group instead of Aslan. We tend to do what other people say to do and follow other people than God. Later she apologizes for not following Aslan. One thing that really stuck out to me was when the White Witch appeared. Earlier in the movie Nikabrik says that he would join even the White Witch to get Narnia back. The two strange creatures come and show the White Witch and tell Prince Caspian if he gives just a drop of blood the White Witch could be released. They slice his hand with a knife and try to push him over to the White Witch so his blood would set him free. Luckily Peter and Edmund show up to help. I got the feeling while watching that scene that Peter and Prince Caspian were being tempted. Caspian seamed to resist it more. But I personally saw a look in Peter that he was tempted for some reason. She was talking to him trying to tempt him so she could be free (probably not to do any good anyway.) Luckily Edmund comes in and destroys the ice structure that the White Witch is stuck in. Since the White Witch was similar to the devil in the last movie, she is probably good and tempting people to go against what they know is right. Peter knows she is evil. After Edmund destroys the White Witch, behind where she was in the stone table area, there was an engraving (or something) of Aslan behind her. Peter looks at that. At that point I think he realizes that he was being tempted by the White Witch and should have realized what the right thing was then. The devil tries to tempt us and sometimes we give in to temptations. But we need to know that God is the right way. Also the White Witch was covering up the engraving of Aslan in the wall. So she tried to block him from seeing Aslan. That part was slightly disturbing but really good. Also when Lucy finds Aslan he tells her that he need her help. She doesn’t think she is brave enough. But Aslan knows. He said that if she was any braver that she would be a lioness. I thought of a certain verse whenever I heard that. Philippians 4:13.
“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
These are just my thoughts. There probably are more, but here are some that really stuck out to me. I might have forgotten all the details. I loved this movie. Not only was it a good movie, but it has spiritual aspects.

All That Matters Lyrics...
This is a really great song...
All That Matters (Addison Road)
I may never be the one that gets a second glance
I may never be the one they call the prettiest
But that's alright with me
And maybe I don't follow every crazy passion
Spend all my time trying to get a good reaction
But that's ok with me
This world is like a trampoline
High and low no in between
Jumping at the chance to please
Everyone but that's not me
Chorus (2X):
Cause all that matters is
All that matters is
I know your love has set me free
And that's all that matters to me
Some people tell me to step out and do my own thing
And others say I got to blend in just to be the same
And stop being me
But this shallow world is no longer what I'm made of
I've been changed by grace
I've been saved by love
What more do I need?
Chorus (2X)
My life comes from the One
Who made the stars and brought the sun
He loves me more than these
So I don't need another identity
Chorus (2X)
So, what do y'all think? Have any of you heard it before?

Really Good Story and Proof
I heard a story once. I don't remember it exactly but it was really good. I'll tell it how I remember it.
There were these people who were in a war in Israel. There was going to be a battle which would be very hard and they probably wouldn't win. They looked in their Bible and read that there was a spot where David or someone used to win a battle. They were in the same area so they found it with the information given in the passage and they used it to win the battle.
At camp my bible teacher talked about how there was actually proof that the Bible was accurate. In a Greek, or something, manuscript there was a note about the sky being dark in the day for a certain amount of time. It was about the time that Jesus would have died and is the same that is described in the Bible as when God forsook Jesus and it became dark. The Greek (?) manuscript described it as an eclipse.
I don't know if that made any sense but it was really good for me.

Hello...Intro, and God's Faithfullness
I am Mellimaus....well, of course that's not my real name, but eventually you'll probably figure out my real first name, if you don't already know it. Anyway, I am a teenager....I live on a 'farm' where we have 10 chickens of various kinds, one dog, 3 cats, a hamster, and my quarter horse mare, Daisy. (I have a blog for her here)...I've been a Christian since I was 6 years old, when a personal crisis 'hit' our family. The crisis was pretty bad, but God makes beauty out of ashes, and through it we became true Christians and followers of God. We (my mom and my two brothers--my dad was an athiest) were catholic beforehand, now we ALL attend a non-denominational, Bible teaching church(my dad became 'saved', thank you Jesus!). My mom is also the coordinator of a Teen Community Bible Study on Wednesday nights in our town that I am a part of....so yeah...I also play the violin, and I LOVE to read, and my favorite subject in school is Social studies.
Today in church we learned about God's faithfulness...John 14:18 reads " I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you". Every week in our teen group during the church service we read over our homework, which is to read a chapter in John, and fill out a little paper about it...It's pretty loose, you write about what Jesus does in the chapter and what you think is cool about the chapter type of thing. I put this verse down because really, God is so faithful. He brought my family through some hard times. It's cool how when you pray for something, you want to get it, and you're disappointed when you don't get what you prayed for. Later on, God answers your prayer, but in a bigger picture....He alters it to make it even better...do you get what I mean? :D It's hard to explain. God's plan is so much better then ours. People, I do anyway, always want to be in charge, when we should let God do the leading because He doesn't see just the now, He sees the future....I hope you guys don't think I'm totally boring and am rambling!
I probably won't post a ton on this blog, once a week, but I post about twice a week on my other blog, http://ridingdaisy.blogpot.com, in case any of you are interested! :D
Have a good week!
Oh, just saw that there's a Christian artists list on the side of the blog...Have you guys ever listened to "Delirious?" (question mark is part of the band name)...they're a REALLY GREAT Christian band. My favorite! Maybe you'd like to YouTube it or something... :-)

Bible Verses in Proverbs...
Proverbs 31 (A Wife of Noble Character):
Verse 17:
She is entergetic and strong, a hard worker.
Verse 26:
When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule when she gives instructions.
Verse 30:
Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but the woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
Proverbs 30 (I always thought these verses were neat):
25 Ants are creatures of little strength,
yet they store up their food in the summer;
26 coneys are creatures of little power,
yet they make their home in the crags;
27 locusts have no king,
yet they advance together in ranks;
28 a lizard can be caught with the hand,
yet it is found in kings’ palaces.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight
Proverbs 10:5
He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son,
but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son
Proverbs 10:19
When words are many, sin is not absent,
but he who holds his tongue is wise.
Proverbs 11:2
When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom.
Proverbs 12:16
A fool shows his annoyance at once,
but a prudent man overlooks an insult.
Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 20:3
It is to a man’s honor to avoid strife,
but every fool is quick to quarrel.
Proverbs 21:23
He who guards his mouth and his tongue
keeps himself from calamity.
Proverbs 23:13-14
Do not withhold discipline from a child;
if you punish him with the rod, he will not die.
Punish him with the rod
and save his soul from death

Prayer
One thing that is amazing in my life is prayer. It's helped me a lot. Sometimes it's confusing when prayers aren't answered the way you want them to be. But I am reading a book and it had an analogy in it that is really good.
The book I'm reading is Letters From A Skeptic. It is letters that a father and son sent to each other. The son's a Christian and the father's not. The son the trying to teach his dad about God. So his dad ask questions and the son answers them. It is an intersting book but it is hard for me to read. But a part stuck out.
I don't remember exactly what it was but it was like an American family was living in Europe during WWI or WW2. And their dad/husband was the general of the American forces and there is a battle around where the house is. The family has a radio to communicate with the general. They ask for supplies and say that they are hurt. But if the father goes to help them thousands might die. He can see the big picture but they can't. All they see is what is outside the small windows of the cottage. The general would like the help the family, he loves them, but he can tell what is happening in the whole battle and he knows what is best. It may be hard for him.
God's our father and He cares for us. But He can see the whole picture and we can't. We can only see a small part. He loves us and wants to help us but he knows what is best. We may not understand why our cries and prayers aren't being answered but there is a reason.
I hope that made sence. It really was amazing for me to read that. I hope it is the same way for you.
